I've been through painful periods, tried hormonal birth control, given birth to 3 babies, experienced incontinence and diastasis recti, weak core and pelvic floor, postpartum depression, health issues like Hashimoto's thyroiditis, eczema, dry skin, hair loss, sudden weight gain, insomnia and hormonal imbalances over the years. Even as a fitness professional and health coach, I've had plenty of doctors give me the runaround, which is what ultimately led me down this path to becoming a women's integrative health coach.
About 5 years ago, I was dealing with severe eczema, I couldn't sleep, I was extremely fatigued and just wanted to lay in bed all day. I knew something was off but couldn't figure out what was going on. I was eating well and exercising but
I was still having health issues. I kept going to my doctor and telling her something was wrong. She kept telling me my labs were normal and I was going into early menopause. I kept asking for more comprehensive testing with no success. One day, I begged and basically cried in my doctor's office in an attempt to get her to test my hormones and thyroid, she finally agreed to get me testing and TADA... the results showed I have an underactive thyroid. I knew exactly what I needed to do to improve my thyroid function, so I declined thyroid medication and got to work on improving my sleep and reducing my stress. 6 months later my test results showed improvement in thyroid function and I had a reduction in my perimenopause symptoms.

You will use hormone charting, a wearable fitness device, continuous glucose monitor (CGM) and comprehensive functional lab testing to monitor your health and track your progress.
