I suffered from debilitating periods as a teen and would often miss school because the pain was so intense. My mom and gynecologist decided that at age 14, hormonal birth control would be the answer! Well 2 years later, I was at a track meet, had just finished my race and felt the most excruciating pelvic pain I had ever felt. An ultrasound revealed I had multiple cysts on my ovaries. At 21, I discovered I had PCOS but had no idea what it really was nor how to manage it. My doctor's answer was to keep me on birth control, which only made things worse for me. By the time I was 23 I was no longer taking hormonal birth control and I was on the path to learning how nutrition and living a healthier lifestyle could improve my life.  Over the years, I would experience various chronic and confusing symptoms, some worse than others.

Many of my clients report a reduction in their chronic symptoms, an increase in their energy levels throughout the day, less morning grogginess, more stable moods, less painful periods, less heavy bleeding, more regular periods, a return of ovulation and fertility, better sleep quality and quantity, clearer skin, fewer food cravings and an increased confidence in their health choices. My 7-step health coaching system is designed to help you better understand your body, support your body's natural rhythms and create lifelong sustainable changes to keep you feeling amazing. Every woman's health journey is unique to her individual situation, so the more you show up for yourself and apply what you learn consistently, the more results you will see!

You will receive:

  • 1 x 90-minute introductory deep dive coaching call at the beginning of your program where we review your health history, health goals, current diet and lifestyle, obstacles and challenges you've experienced in your health journey, and co-create a plan to move forward. You'll also have the opportunity to ask questions and gain clarity on what happens next.
  • 60-minute monthly coaching calls for the duration of your plan to evaluate your progress, celebrate your wins, discuss any obstacles, barriers or challenges you've experienced and co-create action steps to keep you moving forward. We will review your CGM data and menstrual cycle chart, discuss any lab/test results, discuss next steps and update your PCOS health plan. You'll receive updated recommendations, resources and recipes after each call.
  • 1 x 60-minute final coaching call at the end of your program to finalize your PCOS health plan and solidify how to sustain your progress after your program ends.

You can schedule your video coaching calls at your convenience through your HIPAA compliant client portal. Coaching calls are via secure telehealth video and you can choose to have your camera on or off, although I always love to see my clients and match a face to your name. All coaching calls must be completed within your program duration period of 3 months.
A continuous glucose monitor is a wearable biosensor that tracks your blood sugar in real-time. The sensor is worn on the back of your upper arm and sends glucose data to your client portal. Think of it as giving you a window into what's happening in your body 24/7.

We will use your CGM data to:
  • Identify any food related triggers for inflammation and hormonal disruption
  • Track hormonal glucose fluctuations throughout your menstrual cycle 
  • Optimize insulin sensitivity and reduce symptoms
  • Identify how lifestyle factors (sleep, stress, exercise) impact your metabolic health throughout the month
  • Uncover any hidden connections between your symptoms and your blood sugar
  • Personalize your nutrition and lifestyle to work with your hormones and body's natural rhythms
  • Identify any signs of insulin resistance early and take preventative action 

You will wear a CGM for 1 full menstrual cycle to track how your glucose and reproductive hormones align. After your menstrual cycle ends, you'll alternate wearing a sensor for 14 days and not wearing a sensor for 14 days to ensure that any diet or lifestyle changes made are truly sustainable for you when you're not wearing a CGM. It is Imperative that you do not continuously wear a CGM for the length of your program. Over the years, I've seen clients make significant changes while wearing a CGM, but they cannot or will not sustain those changes when they are not wearing a CGM and do not have instant feedback. 

Alternating wearing a CGM for 14 days and not wearing a CGM for 14 days creates the opportunity for you to learn your body's signals and symptoms and to build confidence and trust in your health and lifestyle choices. Absolutely! The program works alongside conventional treatments. Many of my clients reduce or eliminate medications with their doctor's supervision as their PCOS symptoms improve.
No special foods required, you'll shop at your regular grocery store if you prefer. Supplements are recommended to support your system as you optimize your health, BUT they are not mandatory. I'll help you prioritize what's most important for your goals and budget.
No worries! The PFF Reset Method™ specifically targets insulin resistance. Most of my clients see significant improvements in insulin sensitivity within 4-6 weeks.

That's totally fine! I offer an exclusive discount on the Mira at-home hormonal tracking device, which is a great alternative to menstrual cycle charting. It's a simple "pee-on-stick" device that can track your FSH (follicle stimulating hormone), estrogen, LH (luteinizing hormone) and progesterone levels. While I prefer that clients with PCOS learn to chart their biomarkers and learn their body's signals and symptoms to track their hormonal health, ovulation and menstrual cycle, I also understand that not every woman has the time, space nor capacity to chart their menstrual cycle. The Mira device does come with a monthly added cost to purchase the testing sticks, while menstrual cycle charting has minimal costs associated with it and is much more cost effective and affordable long term.
